Many western companies are guilty of polluting the environment not just in the United States but also in foreign countries like Somalia and China where over the last two years many manufacturing and production companies have been found guilty of illegal dumping in the oceans and lands of those countries.

Thanks to the outcry and protests of citizens in third world countries, many nations are strengthening their pollution laws and making it more difficult for western companies to have a carte blanche of freedoms in their countries without being held accountable for the problems that they created.
